Unlock Your Samsung Galxy S III  and Galaxy Note 2 Network To Use With GSM Carrier

The trick was developed by our fellow Folks from XDA. Just follow the below instruction and you can save the money that you are paying for Sim unlock code. As for your convenience the procedures for unlock the is written briefly.

Note: This method has been tested only for Galaxy SIII & Note II models.  Do not try it on unlocked devices as it may result in a brick. These are for the GSM Variants of the Devices only.

Unlock for Galaxy S III & Note II


  • On you galaxy s III or Note 2 dial *#197328640# on your Dialer.
  • Now the Service Mode is shown, from the Main Menu navigate to {1}UMTS {1}Debug Screen {8}Phone Control {6}Network Lock Options.
  • And on the option screen Choose {3}Perso SHA256 OFF and wait for One Minute after selecting.
  • Go back one step by selecting Menu key now you will be taken to {6}Network Lock.
  • From here Choose {4}NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ and wait for One Minute.
  • Now after one minute, reboot your Samsung galaxy S III or Note II and you are done.

Now Your Samsung Galaxy SIII or Note II is unlocked and you are free to use any GSM carrier sim cards.
